Miami’s favorite pistachio croissant — flaky laminated dough filled with authentic Bronte pistachio cream imported from Sicily. Learn the full story of where our pistachios come from → Origin Made from scratch every morning at Pistacchio Pane e Caffè, the only Neapolitan pistachio bakery in Miami. No frozen dough. No shortcuts. Just the real thing, the Italian way.
Miami has plenty of croissants. What makes ours different is what’s inside.
• Bronte DOP pistachio paste imported from Sicily
• Crema al pistacchio made in-house from scratch daily
• Neapolitan cornetto dough — softer and more pillowy than French style
• No artificial flavors, no frozen dough, no shortcuts
• Baked fresh every morning — we sell out by late morning on weekends
Not all pistachios are equal. Ours come from Bronte, a small town on the slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily, where the volcanic soil produces pistachios with an intensity of flavor and a vibrancy of color found nowhere else in the world.
Known as the “green gold” of Italian gastronomy, Bronte DOP pistachios are what separate an authentic Italian pistachio croissant from an imitation. Our pastry chefs use 100% pure Bronte pistachio paste — no fillers, no additives — to make a crema al pistacchio that is rich, aromatic, and unmistakably real.
We offer several variations depending on the day:
• Cornetto al Pistacchio — our classic, filled with pistachio crema and dusted with crushed pistachios
• Cornetto al Pistacchio Veneziana — larger format, extra filling, glazed top
• Croissant al Pistacchio — French-style lamination with Neapolitan pistachio filling
• Cornetto al Pistacchio e Cioccolato — pistachio and dark chocolate layered together
• Maritozzo al Pistacchio — brioche bun filled with pistachio cream (weekend special)
All made fresh daily. Available while supplies last — we recommend arriving before 10am on weekends.
Our bakers start before dawn. The dough is prepared using slow fermentation — no rushing, no cutting corners. Each cornetto is shaped by hand, baked to a golden crisp, and filled only after cooling slightly to preserve the texture of the crema.
The pistachio cream is made in small batches from scratch every morning: whole milk, egg yolks, sugar, butter, and our Bronte pistachio paste — nothing else. A final dusting of crushed pistachios and powdered sugar finishes each one before it hits the pastry case.
This is the same process our family has followed since 1975 in Naples. We brought it to Miami unchanged.
